Peering to German Freifunk network

Hi all,

I run a mesh network in Germany called Freifunk and since I know people in Patras participating in PWMN it would be a nice feature to connect with them 'directly' in our private network.

Do you think it is possible to set up a VPN + BGP connection and exchange routes between our networks?

IPv4: 10.8.0.0/16
IPv6: 2001:470:7b1d:ff/64
TLD: .ffc

I have done this before multiple times with others countries, so maybe if you need any help we can get it running together. Our network also offers special services like servers in the US or UK to enable geo-blocked content (e.g. hulu.com, bbc.com and other sites) - we can talk about that too.

Best wishes,
Amadeus

willkommen Amadeus

I read in the awmn forum that you are planning to set up a peer with their network. In case you are not aware, we are connected with them wirelessly (via multiple hops). Since we are using bgp, as soon you peer with awmn, you will be able to reach us!

Let us know if this doesn't go through
